You see, the Thing is...

The reason why I haven't been updating the blog is because my mom has been in Aruba all week! So I haven't seen the house. She will be back early in the morning tomorrow but then she is picking us up and we are going to Grammy's house for Thanksgiving, so no new posts this weekend. Expect a new post sometime next week! Sorry for the delay, I didn't forget about it!

The Siding is Up!

A few days ago the siding went on! We are really excited about it! The shutters will be coming soon and they will put the finishing touch on the outside. Also the door will be painted, we are not sure what color yet. I have a question for you guys, do you think that the white accent piece on the top of the peak looks good? We aren't sure if we like it or not, please write your opinion below...

The Roof is on!

They finally put the roof shingles on! The siding should go on shortly. We picked a nice blue color for the house, and dark blue shutters. Pics will come as soon as the siding goes up! Sorry I haven't updated in a while.

Shaping Up!

The new house is looking like a real house now! The windows are in, the roof is supposed to go on next week along with the siding! Pictures coming as soon as it goes up!

The Second Floor is on!

The house is starting to take shape, the second floor just went on and things are really moving (knock on wood that is stays like this).

Bare Bones

They finally started framing the house! The house is going to go up quick but the inside work is what takes time.

Rain is a Killjoy

The framer was supposed to start the framing two weeks ago but we have had a lot of rain in the past few weeks. The lumber was delivered the other day and the framer should start framing on Monday, we have our fingers crossed! Pictures coming as soon as some of the framing is done!
